Marbleous, Let’s Talk About It!

Always Imitated, Never 100% Duplicated.  Put Your Hands Together For the OG: Marble!

Let’s face it, marble has a long history with exteriors and interiors. It has been around for centuries, and it’s not going anywhere.  Whether you’re remodeling or simply redecorating, incorporating marble is the easiest way to add a classy yet modern touch to any space!

Stay Classy!

Sophisticated and timeless, marble is the first choice for luxurious home interiors. Having the power to turn any space into a work of art.  Since marble is a natural stone, slabs and tiles vary in veining, adding character to any application. From classic and traditional to farmhouse and industrial interiors, marble can add a glamorous touch.

On the flip side, marble is also the perfect balance to a busy décor.  You can easily balance busy textures and/or vibrant colors with it’s subtle beauty!

Be Bold!

Yes marble has the girl next door reputation, but in fact marble can also be edgy and bold.  Not all white marble features subtle light gray veins, think deep veining with a high contrast and a whole lot of attitude.  Marble has the power to transform any room!

Have you heard about Azerocare?

For all those worried about etching, staining and all that other good stuff – we introduce you to Azerocare by Antolini Italy. Antolini’s top secret development is unlike anything else.  It effectively makes porous stone non-porous.  Keep in mind this is not a sealer, it’s the first of its kind factory process. It does not have to be reapplied  every few months or years, this is the first permanent treatment done during the cutting and prepping of slabs.  And the cherry on top is that there is basically no maintenance.  No need for harsh chemical cleaners or special polishes, soap and water will do the trick.

Style tips from our crew:

The Story Behind the Stone – Verde Antique

Verde Antique, the world’s finest serpentine, is born right here in the USA and has been quarried in the green mountains of central Vermont for over a 100 years! Verde Antique is often referred to as “marble”, while it has the warmth and look of marble, it is actually harder and less porous than many types of granite. It’s low absorption rate and flexural strength makes it a favorite among architects, designers and builders on projects throughout the world. It can be found in kitchens, courthouses, museums and many commercial buildings.

 Verde Antique

Verde Antique’s signature green and metallic flecked surface, complimented by white and light green veining, makes it a widely sought element in distinctive residential projects. Every block that’s quarried has unique features to complement your project. Unlike marble, Verde Antique naturally stands up to culinary acid exposure and resists staining. In fact, over 100 years of Verde Antique interior and exterior installations worldwide still retain their original finishes and beauty. Being family owned and operated in Rochester, Vermont, along with strategically placed warehouses in nearby Hancock; ensure the time honored quality of local Vermont craftsmanship for your special project. This also allows the ability to supply custom sizes and different finishes, with short lead times – from small scale local kitchens, to major international projects.

The Story Behind the Stone – Statuario Cava 103

Equivalent to the batch number on a bottle of well aged scotch, the Statuario Cava 103 stamps the same type of exclusive richness. The “103” originates from the name of the quarry which produces this most sought after white marble. The historical quarry, Calocara 103, sits high up in a mountain and overlooks the beautiful city of Carrara, Italy.

Batch 103 is known for its stark white background and medium grain structure. The balance of its veins, coupled with its evenly distributed pattern, is what makes these set of blocks so extraordinary, proclaiming them the king of all whites! Our generational relationships allow us exclusive rights to the first selection of blocks. This is how we ensure that you will be receiving the most luxurious slabs of Statuario Cava 103.

More fashionable than ever, we have watched this “ugly” duckling grow up to be the most beautiful swan of all!

The most popular Porcelain tiles are those that mimic the organic beauty found in natural stone. The Marmoker Series is just our latest addition to the Casalgrande Collection. Simply put, this tile is elegantly crafted to resemble the true beauty found in the ever so popular marble stone.

The advantage of Porcelain tile is it’s extreme durability coupled with very low maintenance care. You don’t have to worry about staining or scratching due to the fact that this tile is not as soft or porous as natural stone. With Porcelain tile you get the best of both worlds!
